How Explorebits starts, scopes, schedules, and delivers service engagements.

How engagements start

The standard path is:

  • initial discussion
  • fit and scope confirmation
  • written proposal or agreement
  • kickoff after access readiness and scheduling are confirmed

Engagement models

  • System Audit: fixed-scope review with a written output
  • Reliability / Performance Sprint: time-boxed delivery against a defined objective
  • Module Delivery: milestone-based delivery with explicit acceptance criteria
  • Retainer: optional ongoing support when both sides agree that continued ownership is needed

Delivery expectations

  • Work starts after scope clarity, scheduling, and access readiness are confirmed.
  • Timelines depend on the agreed scope, dependency turnaround, and how quickly required inputs are available.
  • Deliverables are digital unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
  • Scope changes are handled explicitly rather than being folded into the original work without review.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business, technical, and timeline information during intake and scoping.
  • Provide the access, assets, data samples, and decision-making contacts needed to keep delivery moving.
  • Raise blockers, missing inputs, or acceptance concerns promptly so they can be addressed within the active engagement window.

Communication and handover

  • Explorebits aims to keep scope, assumptions, decisions, and handover notes documented.
  • Communication may occur by email, scheduled calls, or WhatsApp when practical, but formal scope and billing decisions are confirmed in writing.
  • Final handover content depends on the agreed engagement model and deliverables.

Scheduling, changes, and cancellations

  • Kickoff dates are agreed directly with Explorebits.
  • If work needs to be rescheduled, discuss it as early as possible.
  • Material scope changes may require timeline and pricing updates.
  • Billing, delivery, cancellation, and refund expectations are summarized on `/billing-refund-policy` and may be refined further in the written agreement for the specific engagement.
